Pie Pie....Chicken pie !!! 
Chicken pie is a very popular side dish, that is also used as a dessert in the Southern United States. It is often served during the American holiday seasons and at various other occasions.

                                                         
                                  
Ingredients :
  • ·         Chicken -300 g
  • ·         Corn -1.5 cup
  • ·         Spring onions- 1.5 cup
  • ·         Salt as to taste
  • ·         Black pepper as to taste
  • ·         Egg -1
  • ·         Capsicum -2
  • ·         Butter- 2 tbsp
  • ·         Milk -2 cup
  • ·         Bread crumbs -1/2 cup
  • ·         Cheese (crushed) -1 tbsp
  • ·         Butter (molten) -1 tbsp
  • ·         Ketchup for garnish.


Method :
1.     Boil the chicken.
2.     Now to prepare sauce, mix eggs, butter and milk.
3.     Also add salt and pepper in the above mixture.
4.     Beat them until creamy and smooth.
5.     Fry the corn, capsicum and spring onions in butter.
6.     Place one layer of chicken in baking pan.
7.     Then add one layer of cheese.
8.     Then place one layer of sauce.
9.     Then place another layer of remaining chicken.
10.  Then place another layer of cheese and sauce.
11.  And then spread bread crumbs on top.
12.  Then add molten butter.
13.  Bake them for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
14.  Serve with ketchup.

CHINESE SOUP .....

Chinese soup is a very healthy and yummy appetizer. Its delicious and can be prepared very easily at our home!! 


Lets see how this can be done.....




                                             


INGREDIENTS :



  • Chicken stock 1 ¼ liters.

  • Sweet corn kernels 175 gm.

  • Ginger 1 tsp (freshly grated).

  • Spring onion 4 (topped, tailed and sliced).

  • Seafood sticks 170 gm (defrosted and shredded).

  • Prawns 50 gm (defrosted and peeled).

  • Dry Sherry 4 tbsp.

  • Salt and black pepper as required.

  • Corn flour 2 tbsp.

  • Carrot flowers for garnishing.

METHOD :

  1. Take the chicken stock in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  2. Add the sweet corn kernels, ginger, spring onions, seafood sticks and prawns.
  3. Add the salt, black pepper and dry sherry.
  4. Blend the corn flour in a small bowl with enough cold water to form a smooth paste.
  5. Stir the corn flour paste into the soup and simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir until slightly thickened.

     It can be served before lunch or dinner as a hot and yummy appetizer.!!

PA$TA ( white sauce wala) ....




                      


Have you ever tried the pasta wo bhi "white sauce" wala??
NOOO??!!!

Then here you can see what all u need for this delicious delicacy....


Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup chopped onion 
  • 4 cups pasta (macaroni/penne/ fusilli /farfalle /ruote)
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp plain flour (maida)
  • 30 gm butter
  • 1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn
  • 1 cup chopped/sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped french beans
  • Optional - 2 tbsp grated cheese (processed/cheddar/ parmesan)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil/veg oil


Method :
  1. Cook the pasta in boiling water with some salt. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of salt on the broccoli and steam cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a pan add the onions, cook on low heat until the onion is transparent, add garlic and cook on low heat for another minute.
  4. Add the carrots and french beans, stir, cover the pan and cook for 5 min or till the carrot is almost cooked.
  5. In the meantime - in a bowl, sieve the flour, add 1/3 of the milk and beat or stir to a smooth paste, gradually add the rest of the milk while stirring and ensuring there are no lumps. Melt the butter and add while stirring into the flour-milk mix. Set aside.
  6. Add the sweet corn, mushroom and dried herbs to the pan - cook for a further 3 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Add the flour - milk- butter mix gradually to the pan, stirring constantly. Cook for a couple of minutes or until the liquid starts to bubble.
  8. Add the pasta, stir, add salt to taste, add the pepper and then the broccoli. Turn the heat off and mix everything.
  9. Serve hot and sprinkle the grated cheese on top if you wish.
